I grew up in a big, rowdy family in the steel town of Bethlehem PA and then moved to the larger steel town of Pittsburgh for a long stint in college, plus a few years for good measure. I now call former hippie-enclave Boulder, Colorado home. Looking for adventure and wanting to keep the kids connected to their roots, we moved to Athens, Greece for one year in 2014.
At the core, I’m a mom who hopes that her parenting is judged like the cleanliness of her children’s bedrooms: a little messy, but good enough, and could always use some more work.
I write about life as I see it.
